Educational Trip to the National Space Centre

The whole of year 10 and our year 11 BTEC Science students took part in an enrichment day at The National Space Centre in Leicester.

After travelling up by coach, the students were able to look around the 6 the interactive exhibits and travel up to the top of the iconic 42m high Rocket Tower.

They then enjoyed the last part of their day in the UK’s largest planetarium watching the show ‘We Are Stars.’ Narrated  by Andy Serkis, the actor who play Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, students learnt about the smallest of atoms, right the way up to the brightest of stars!
