The department aims to develop the key skills of independence, resilience and confidence as well as promoting the core ethos of Solihull Academy - to build strong relationships. We offer an effective, inclusive, adaptable and broad curriculum which considers individual needs and optimises progress for all students from basic skills to GCSE qualifications. We support pupils by tailoring their experience and qualifications to their individual need, offering qualifications ranging from Entry Level Certificates, iGCSE’s and GCSE’s. This supports students in achieving their full potential, attaining, and surpassing their target baseline grades and accessing their future pathway.
