Enrichment
Solihull Academy offers a range of enrichment opportunities for students.
- We follow a calendar of awareness raising events throughout the year, promoting different themes and exploring topics with the students. E.g Black History Month, Anti-Bullying Week and World Mental Health Day
- There are also many opportunities for students to engage in sports in their spare time through lunch clubs. Regular sports fixtures are organised as well as weekly visits to MK gym.
- A range of creative enrichment opportunities also available linking to cooking, art, music and reading.
- There are also regular opportunities to engage with careers activities, from guest speakers to trips and workshops.
These opportunities enable our students to build on their cultural capital, explore areas of interest and develop skills. Students have a range of activities that they can engage with at different times throughout the day which supports the positive behaviour and relationships amongst staff and students.
